Petit Verum is the union between Altosa Wines and Verum Wineries and Vineyards. Under the guidelines set by the winemaker Elías López Montero, awarded Respected winemaker of the year 2021 by Gaggenau and named one of the promising young winemakers in 2018 according to Decanter in 2018.

Our technical team has a vast experience in producing multiple vintages, in working on farms and in partnering with selected suppliers. Hence, our team has chosen the vineyard plots with the most potential for varietal expression wines, as well as, 25 years average age vineyards driven freely or on a trellis.

VERUM is made to guarantee the highest quality wine, since we always keep close monitoring of our production process in each stage. Petit Verum creates the best quality of the upcoming wines.

ABOUT US

Family business with international projection

ALTOSA, an international FAMILY business group based in TOMELLOSO (Ciudad Real – Spain). They have been working in the wine industry since 1963 producing wine and wine-derived products.

Nowadays, Altosa is managed by the López Montero family’s second generation. The company’s activities are diversified, as they include the production of wine alcohols with industrial origins, varietal wines with organic certification, concentrated and sulfur grape musts, and tartaric acid.

Altosa Wines is a company specialized in international wines with a familiar philosophy and a perspective of future seeking for excellence. The company has a 4-pillars strategy:

The fifth pillar of Ecology is now included due a certification made in 2013, in which more than 400 Ha of vineyard in glass and trellis were verified becoming Altosa one of the largest organic wine producers in the world with more than 1000 L destined to the cultivation of organic grapes.

In addition, Altosa Wines carries out exhaustive quality and traceability controls aimed at biodiversity in the vineyard and CO2 reduction in all processes.
